Key Components

Types of CNC Lathe

2-Axis Lathe: This type of lathe operates on two axes, X and Z, where the cutting tool moves along these axes while the workpiece rotates on the spindle.

Multi-Axis Lathe: Adds additional axes, such as Y and C axes, allowing for more complex operations like drilling and milling on the same workpiece.

Swiss-Type Lathe: Designed for small, long parts, where the workpiece is held between the spindle and a collet while the cutting tools move precisely along the Z-axis.
